In the last week, we four "Jazz at Work" concerts in Oslo for Manpower, CapGemini, Norwegian Auto Industry Association and Innovation Norway.
Carl talks about "Jazz at Work" at Oslo Konserthus for Manpower Forum, March 22.
At three shows we had the audience vote with their cellphone. At the end of the tune, I brougth the results up on the screen via internet. On a scale from 1-6 (6 being the best), we averaged over 5!
A client suggested that the poll was a fake. That would be taking a huge risk. At the first two concerts, the lowest rating we received was a 4. Any hoax like that would be uncovered if just one person voted a "1" and their vote did not show up. I pointed this out when we did the concert for Innovation Norge, and one person gave us a "1". Thanks a lot!
I do these votes in order to show how everything is becoming real-time. Including customer feedback. Of course, if our concerts were dogs, we would not be doing these ratings, would we;-).
The technology is available from mVote in beta. Check it out (if you live in Norway). Thanks to mVote for helping me set this up.
(If you were present at any of these shows, please give your feedback -- it only takes 90 seconds)
