This week I did a gig in Berlin with an incredible band consisting of Rob Scheps (sax) from New York, and Marc Muellbauer (bass) and Wolfgang Koehler (piano) from Berlin. Rob and I went to New England Conservatory together and he is an incredible player; extremely energetic, versatile and knowledgeable.

Marc and Wolfgang I found online by going to the biggest jazz club in Berlin to find out who is working in Berlin. We had never met prior to the gig, and they turned out to be nice, professional and really great musicians. Turned out that they are both professors at the conservatory in Berlin.
